Childhood. Motherhood.

I love Autumn as a childminder. The children never fail to get excited about the abundance of conkers around and we always enjoy good leaf crunching walks too.
If there’s one (or three!) things my mindees always love it’s glitter, glue and sequins! With this activity they were able to indulge their love of all three. We have done these fantastic cardboard wreaths before but this time they were star shaped!
This time round it was turn of two 2 year olds I look after. Didn’t they do well?!

Back in February, the children put their fine motor skills to good use handling and sticking sequins to decorate these fantastic crowns.
In June, we enjoyed these fab musical instrument stickers. Our box of musical instruments is always a great hit with children of all ages and this gave us a chance to explore some instruments that we don’t have in our collection such as a saxophone and a harp.
Back in February at the start of the year we enjoyed some lovely heart themed activities using playdough and paint for Valentines Day.
The children enjoyed creating their own fabric flags back in July with great results.
Continuing our look back at 2018, the start of the Summer Holidays saw us enjoying these fab Bug Colour-In Crowns.
